On 9/8/2020, a mass took place at the Church of the Virgin Mary in Baghdad, celebrating the birthday of Saint Mary the Virgi under the leadership of His Eminence Archbishop Avak Asadourian. The Mass was presented by Father Kevork Archakian. During the celebration, letters of thanks were distributed to everyone who helped the church in providing its services to the believers. The ceremony was attended by the deputy of the Central Administrative Committee, Mr. Kevork Kadoian, the member of the Committee, Mr. Garbed Kalustian, and members of the Church Management Committee in the sect. Among the attendees was the head of the subcommittee of the Basra sect, Mr. Khajag Vartanian.
