The head of the Armenian Orthodox community, his Eminence Archbishop Dr. Avak Asadourian, received the Director General Of The syriac study, Mr. Imad Salem Jjo, with his accompanying delegation on January 20/2021 at the headquarters of the Archdiocese. The discussion during the meeting touched on the most important activities of the General Directorate for Syriac study and on its most prominent achievements in teaching the subjects of Christian religious education and the Syriac language, as well as on ways of joint cooperation between the educational and ecclesiastical institutions. The meeting was attended by a member of the Central Administrative Committee, Mr. Garabed Kalustian.
