Ecclesiastical icons’ Consecration At St. Gregory Church The Illuminator In Baghdad

On June 4-2021, celebrated by His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Avak Asadourian, head of the Armenian Orthodox sect in Iraq, a liturgy was held at the Church of St. Gregory the illuminator on the occasion of the feast of the holy metropolis of Echmiadzin, during the liturgy ecclesiastical icons were dedicated, which were painted by the artist Antranik Ohanesian. The liturgy was presented by the head of the Armenian Orthodox community in France, His Grace Bishop Vahan Hovhannesian. The liturgy was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Iraq, Mr. Harachia Poladian, the Consul, Mr. Alek Gharibian, the vice-chairman and members of the Central Administrative Committee, and a large number of faithfuls.
