On July 9-2021, the Iraqi Christian Youth Committee (ICYC), with the blessing of the head of the Armenian Orthodox community in Iraq, His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Avak Asadourian, organized a meeting for the Christian youth of Baghdad churches under the title (Getting to know the Church of the Other) in the public hall of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) in Iraq. Participated by the Armenian church members of Zvartnots choir  and members of the church lovers. During the meeting, lectures were given about Christian values ​​by Father Ibrahim, pastor of saint Matthew Syriac Orthodox Church, as well as a lecture about the history of the Armenians and their traditions by Professor Steve Harutonian, in addition to an exhibition of oil paintings describing the Armenian Genocide and finally the meeting included games and competitions. The meeting was attended by the Vice-Chairman of the Central Administrative Committee, Mr. Vartan Vartanian, some of the committee members,the President of Armenian General benevolent Union (AGBU), Mr. Kvork Kadoian, and some of the it’s members.
