On the Assumption of Mary’s occasion, the Iraqi Christian Youth Committee ICYC visited the Armenian Orthodox Church of St. Mary the Virgin on August 16/2021 which is located at the Al-Midan area in Baghdad. The gathering of ICYC was chaired by Father Albert Hisham under the title of a spiritual exercise for Iraqi Christian youth- Mary gathered us with the presence of some priests. Their meeting included prayers, reading verses from the psalms, spiritual exercises, meditation and hymns by the committee’s choir. It was concluded by lighting candles in a cross shape and reading hymns about the Virgin Mary by all the youth who were gathering, at the end they had the dinner together.
