Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Al-Midan area  on August 20-2021 with the blessing of Archbishop Dr. Avak Asadourian, head of the Armenian Orthodox community in Iraq , celebrated by the reverend father Dr. Mina Al-Urushlimi. the Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Saad Maan and many faithfuls attended the liturgy. This liturgy was held to deepen the relations between the Armenian and Coptic Apostolic Churches.
