On the 24th of March 2022, the head of the Armenian Orthodox community in Iraq, ArchBishop Dr. Avak Asadourian, received the Australian Ambassador in Iraq, Mrs. Paula Elizabeth Canley. During the meeting, the role of Armenians in Iraqi society and ways of cooperation between the two sides were discussed.
