On 17th of April 2022, His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Avak Asadourian, head of the Armenian Orthodox sect in Iraq, celebrated a Divine Liturgy for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (Easter) at St. Gregory the Illuminator Church. The Liturgy was attended by the Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Iraq, Mr. Alek Gharibian, the Chairman of the Central Administrative Committee, some of it’s members and many faithfuls.
