The First Episcopal Liturgy as Bishop of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq at the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in Basra

On November 24, 2023, Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, celebrated his first Episcopal Liturgy at the Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in Basra. The mass was attended by V. Rev. Fr Hagopos Isahakian; the Chairman of the Central Administrative Committee, Mr. Garbed Kaloustian; the Bishop of the Syriac Catholic Church in Basra; clergy of the sister churches; the pastor of the Armenian Church in Basra, V. Rev. Fr. Ghevont Sagatilian; the head and members of the Sub-Administrative Committee; guests and the faithful. Following the Liturgy, a cultural program was held, after which the members of the administrative subcommittee presented Bishop Gulgulian with gifts.
