On January 6, 2024, under the auspices of Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, the Christmas Liturgy of the Birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ was held at the Church of the St. Gregory the Illuminator. During the Liturgy, water was blessed and distributed to the faithful. The Liturgy was attended by the former Primate Archbishop Avak Asadourian, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Iraq, the Consul, guests, and crowds of believers. Following the Liturgy, His Eminence, Bishop Gulgulian, received the guests in the Diocese Hall to accept congratulations on this Holy Day.
