On April 2, 2024 two Armenian priests from the Church of the Holy See of Etchmiadzin in Armenia arrived in Baghdad, Reverend Father Ardag Mirzoian and Reverend Father Sebouh Baghdasarian. The following morning, they visited the Armenian Orthodox Diocese, where they were received by the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, His Eminence Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian. Subsequently, the priests were introduced to the employees and departments of the Diocese, accompanied by Deacon Aram Ketenjian, who provided them with a brief overview and history of the Armenian school, the museum, and other departments. On Friday, April 5, 2024, Reverend Father Ardag Mirozian will offer the Liturgy at the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator in Baghdad, while on Sunday, April 7, 2024, Reverend Father Sebouh Baghdasarian will offer the Liturgy at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Baghdad.
