Divine Liturgy and prayer at the church of St. Garabed in Baghdad

On February 28, 2025, in the presence of former Primate of the Armenian Church of Iraq, His Eminence Archbishop Avak Asadourian, a Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of St. Garabed in Baghdad on the occasion of St. Vartan’s Day. The Liturgy was celebrated by Reverend Father Kevork Arshagian. Following the Liturgy, a prayer of repose was held for the soul of the late Mr. Vahe Asadourian, after which condolences were accepted at the hall of the nursing home. The Liturgy wasattended by Reverend Father Ardag Mirzoian; the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Iraq, Mr. Rupen Soghoian; a member of the Central Administrative Committee; members of the Church Affairs Committee, scouts of the ArmenianHomenetmen Sports Club, and a group of faithful.
