On June 21, 2025, His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, visited the Chaldean Patriarchate in Baghdad to offer condolences on the passing of the late Archbishop Thabet Mekko, Bishop of the Chaldean Diocese of Alqosh. His Grace was received by His Beatitude Patriarch Louis Sako. The visit was also attended by bishops and priests from various sister churches in Baghdad.
