On July 1, 2025, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, a group of young men and women from various Armenian churches across Iraq gathered in preparation for a religious visit to Armenia. The visit, from July 2 to July 7, is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Armenian Youth Union.
The participants began their journey with a prayer at the Church of St. Garabed in Baghdad, where Reverend Father Sebouh Baghdasarian offered his prayers for their safety and wished them success and blessings on their spiritual journey.
