On August 15, 2025, the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Members of Parliament Bidaa Suleiman and Hiba Al-Qass visited the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Baghdad. They were received by His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq.
