On September 1, 2025, at the invitation of the Governor of Mosul, His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq participated in a lengthy meeting held at the governorate building. The meeting was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani. During the meeting, a variety of issues were discussed, with particular focus on the efforts to rebuild the city of Mosul.
