On May 24, 2026, under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, a Divine Liturgy was held at St. Gregory the Illuminator Church on the occasion of the Feast of the Descent of the Holy Spirit (Pentecost). The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Reverend Father Sepouh Baghdasarian. At the end of the Liturgy, Bishop Oshagan conferred the rank of Reader upon seven members of the church. Presenting them with certificates of recognition, His Grace congratulated the newly ordained readers, encouraging them to serve the Mother Church with dedication and devotion.
