On May 30, 2026, His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Avak Asadourian, former Primate of the Armenian Orthodox Church in Iraq, several clergy members, and a number of heads of Christian denominations in Iraq, visited the Syriac Orthodox Diocese in Baghdad.
During the visit, they met with His Holiness Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II Karim, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East of the Syriac Orthodox Church.
