On July 24, 2026, A Divine Liturgy was held at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Baghdad. The service was celebrated by Archimandrite Antranik Kevorkian, who arrived in Iraq from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin at the direction of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, to participate in the election of the Primate of the Armenian Orthodox Diocese in Iraq.
