On April 30/2021, the Armenian community in Erbil commemorated the 106-year anniversary of the Armenian genocide, committed by the Ottoman Empire, where a prayer was held at the Church of the Holy Cross, and was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Hrachia puladian, the Consul General in Erbil, Mr. Arshag Manugian, and some members of the Kurdistan government and large crowd of believers.
