Under the patronage of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Iraq and within the framework of joint cooperation between Armenia and Iraq, on May 23, 2021, a number of ophthalmologists from Armenia visited Baghdad. During the visit, they toured the Armenian Orthodox Archdiocese. They were received by the member of the Central Administrative Committee, Mr. Kevork Kadoian. They also learned about the archaeological church of St. Mary the Virgin in the Maidan area.
