On April 4/2022, the litugy of the Palm Sunday was held in the Church of St. Krikor the Illuminator, it was presided over by His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Avak Asadourian, head of the Armenian Orthodox sect in Iraq, with the participation of deacons and the church choir. Where it was attended by the Chairman of the Central Administrative Committee and some of its members and a group of believers. In the evening, the curtain opening prayer was held.
