On August 14-2022, a Divine Liturgy was held on the occasion of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary into Heaven in the Armenian Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross in Erbil, and during the Mass the grapes were blessed. The Mass was attended by a large crowd of believers.
