On October 22nd, 2022, His Eminence Archimandrite Oshagan Gulgulian, The primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, received Dr. Mustafa Mohsen Kadhem, who recently submitted a Ph.D. thesis at the University of Baghdad under the title “Egyptian Armenians in the Fatimid and Ayyubid Era.” During the meeting, the researcher gave an overview of his thesis, and opinions were exchanged about the thesis and other topics regarding the history of the Armenians in past eras.
The guest thanked The primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq and gifted His Eminence a copy of his thesis.
Mr. Melkon Melkonian, the Chairman of the Armenian Diocesan Council, Mr. Garabed Kalustian, a member of the council, and Deacon Aram Ketenjian, attended the meeting.
