On November 5th, 2022, His Eminence Archimandrite Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, Received Dr. Hayder Asfour, representative of the Zoroastrian religion, and his accompanying delegation, as well as Mr. Sheikh Talib Al-Zubaidi, head of the Peace Messengers Organization. The meeting was attended by Mr. Malkon Melkonian, Chairman of Armenian Diocesan Council. During the meeting, held in the Diocesan Hall, they discussed the conditions of Iraqi society, their rights, problems they all face, and possible solutions to these challenges. the delegation invited His Eminence Archimandrite Gulgulian and the central Diocesan council to participate in the consultative meeting that will held next Monday, organized with the United Nations and Human Rights organization in Iraq, where it deals with issues concern to sects in Iraq and discusses their rights.
