On March 1st, 2023, Archimandrite Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, received in his office Mr. Munir Nisan the Secretary of the Assyrian Democratic Party, and Mr. Ali Bakht the head of the “Ufuq” organization.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues about the rights of minorities in Iraq. Mr. Bakht handed an invitation to the Archimandrite to attend the special celebration on the occasion of the National Day of Tolerance, under the title “We Live Together,” which will take place under the auspices of His Excellency Mr. Qassem Al-Aaraji, the National Security Adviser, on March 6th, 2023, at Al-Nahrain Center Hall.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Garabed Kalustian, Chairman of the Armenian Diocesan Council.
