On August 9, 2023, Archimandrite Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, received a group of clerics and officials in his office:
1. Sheikh Talib Al-Zubaidi, President of the Messengers of Peace Organization for Community Coexistence.
2. Mr. Ahmed Zamil, President of Sama Iraq Humanitarian Foundation.
3- Sheikh Saad Al-Daraji, imam and preacher of a mosque, a Husseiniya, and a religious school of love.
4- Sheikh Abdul Wahab Al-Ansari, imam and preacher.
During the meeting, the friendly relations between the Islamic and Christian people dating back centuries were discussed. The meeting was also attended by the pastor of the Armenian Church in Basra, V. Rev. Fr. Ghevont Sagatilian, and the head of the Central Administrative Committee, Mr. Garabed Kaloustian.
