On February 27, 2024, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Vahagin Khachadorian, visited the Cathedral of Saint Gregory the Illuminator in Baghdad. He was received by the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, His Eminence Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian; the former Primate Archbishop Avak Asadourian; and members of the Central Administrative Committee.
His Eminence, Bishop Gulgulian, gave the Armenian President a brief overview of the history of the cathedral.
