On April 26, 2025, His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, along with Mr. Garabed Kaloustian, Head of the Central Administrative Committee, visited the Embassy of the Vatican in Iraq to offer condolences for the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis. They met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy, Father Charles Lwanga Sona.
