On August 17, 2025, the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, a Divine Liturgy and the Blessing of the Grapes were held at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Kirkuk. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Reverend Father Kevork Arshagian.
