On August 18, 2025, His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, received in his office the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Iraq, Mr. Steven Fagin.
Accompanied by His Grace, Mr. Fagin visited the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator, which is currently undergoing restoration. Following the church visit, Mr. Fagin toured the adjacent Armenian cemetery, where he was briefed on its landmarks and historical significance. The visit concluded with a tour of the Diocesan Museum. The visit was also attended by Mr. Raffi Yergoian, a member of the Central Administrative Committee.
