On December 7, 2025, under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, a Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of St. Virgin Mary in Baghdad. The Liturgy was celebrated by Reverend Father Aren Marderosian with the participation of Reverend Father Sebouh Baghdasaryan.
At the conclusion of the service, prayers were offered for the repose of the souls of more than 25,000 innocent victims who perished in the devastating earthquake that struck Armenia in 1988.
The event was attended by the head and several members of the Central Administrative Committee, as well as members of the Church Affairs Care Committee.
