On Sunday, 21 December 2025, the reopening ceremony of St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Baghdad was held under the leadership of His Excellency the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, and under the auspices Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq.
The ceremony was attended by Dr. Rami Joseph Aghajan, Head of the Endowment Office for Christian, Yazidi, and Mandaean Sabean Religions, along with a number of distinguished guests and officials.
