On February 13th, 2023, a prayer was held at the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator on the occasion of the Presentation of the Lord Jesus to the Temple, presided over by Archimandrite Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq. In accordance with the rituals of our church, the feast fire was lit in the churchyard. Mr. Alek Gharibian, The Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Iraq, members of the Armenian Diocesan Council, and a group of faithful parishioners attended the prayers and the lighting of the fire.
