On February 9th, 2023, Archimandrite Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, participated in the Divine Liturgy at Sayidat al‐Nejat Church, a Syriac Catholic church. The Archimandrite’s presence was requested by invitation of His Eminence Archbishop Afram Yousif Aaba, head of the Syriac Catholic community in Baghdad. The liturgy was presided over by the Patriarch Mar Ignatius Yousif III Younan, the Syriac Catholic Archbishop in the world.
After the liturgy, the Archimandrite had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Evan Gabro, the Minister of Immigration and Displacement in Iraq.
