On December 7, 2023, prayers were held at the Church of Saint Gregory the Illuminator in Baghdad for the souls of 25,000 innocent victims of the 1988 Armenia earthquake. The prayers were offered by Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq. The martyrs and victims of Artsakh and Gaza were also remembered in the divine prayers. The service was attended by the clergy, the head and members of the Central Administrative Committee, the employees of the diocese, the director and members of the teaching staff, and the students of the Armenian National Mixed Primary School.
