Divine Liturgy and Rest Prayer at the Cathedral of St.  Gregory the Illuminator in Baghdad

On May 3, 2024, under the auspices of the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, His Eminence Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, a Divine Liturgy was held at the Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator in Baghdad. The Liturgy was offered by Reverend Father Ardag Mirzoian. Following the Liturgy, the 50th Anniversary of the death of Vaspouragan national hero Levon Pasha Shaghoian was commemorated and, in the presence of a group of believers and scouts of the Armenian Homenetmen Sports Club, patriotic words were offered in the church courtyard near the Khachkar memorial where the remains of the national hero are located. At the conclusion of the program, a lunch was served.
