On April 7, 2025, under the patronage of His Beatitude Cardinal Louis Raphael Sako, Patriarch of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and Worldwide, and in the presence of His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, the Fourth Pope Francis Football Championship concluded. The final match was held at the Chaldean Patriarchate fields and ended with the victory of the St. Joseph Church team over the St. Thomas Church team. Our St. Gregory the Illuminator sports team was among the participants in this tournament. At the conclusion of the championship, Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian distributed the medals to the members of the winning team.
