On December 23, 2025, His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, received the First Lady, Shanaz Ibrahim, at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Baghdad.
During the meeting, the esteemed guest was introduced to the history of the holy church, which is considered a shrine visited by believers from various denominations. On the occasion of Christmas and the New Year, the First Lady conveyed her heartfelt congratulations to His Grace, expressing her wishes that the coming year would be one of peace, harmony, and prosperity for the Iraqi people.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Garabed Kaloustian, Chairman of the Central Administrative Committee.
