On March 28, 2026, under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq. A Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of St. Sarkis in the village of Havresk on the occasion of Palm Sunday with the participation of Reverend Father Hagopos Isahagian, pastor of St. Mary Virgin Church in Zakho. At the end of the Liturgy, the ceremony of the Opening the Altar Curtain was conducted, followed by the blessing of the children of the community.
