On May 16, 2026, under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, A Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of St. Vartan in the village of Avzrouk.
The Liturgy was celebrated by Reverend Father Masis Shahinian, with the participation of Reverend Father Hagopos Isahagian, pastor of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Zakho.
