On February 13/2021, a delegation from the General Directorate of Endowments and Religious Affairs of Dohuk Governorate visited the Virgin Mary Armenian Orthodox Church in Zakho. The delegation was represented by Mr. Muhammad Khaled Muhammad, Director General of Endowments and Religious Affairs for the Governorate of Dohuk, and Mr. Mulla Said Goly ,Director of the Endowment Department in Zakho. Which they were welcomed by Mr. Vahik Saranian, member of the Kurdistan Region Parliament, Mr. Ishkhan Sarkissian, a member of the Duhok Provincial Council, Mr. Armen Lazarian, member of the Administrative Committee of the Armenian Orthodox Church in Zakho, and a number of members of the community.
