On August 2, 2026, under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, a Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of St. Mary in Zakho. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Archimandrite Antranik Kevorkian, with the participation of Reverend Father Masis Shahenian. At the end of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian and Archimandrite Antranik Kevorkian met with members of the Armenian community of Zakho in the church hall. The gathering was attended by Mr. Garbed Kaloustian, Chairman of the Central Administrative Committee, and Mr. Dawoud Marderosian, Chairman of the Zakho Administrative Subcommittee, together with the committee members.
