On June 10, 2026, His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, took part in the activities of the festival held at Delal Bridge Square in the city of Zakho. The event featured the participation of the Armenian folk-dance troupe “HRAYRQ Folk Dance,” showcasing traditional performances as part of the cultural program. The festival was attended by His Excellency Masoud Barzani, along with senior state officials. Also present were Mr. Dawoud Marderosian, Head of the Administrative Subcommittee in Zakho, members of the committee, and Reverend Father Hagopos Isahagian, pastor of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Zakho.
