On the 11th of July 2022, under the Auspices of His Eminence Archbishop, Dr. Avak Asadourian a Divine Liturgy took place at St. Mary the Virgin church in Zakho which was celebrated by His Grace Archbishop Michael Achabahian, Archbishop of Shirak Province in Armenia. Father Masis Shahinian, the pastor of the church, the chairman and members of the Administrative Subcommittee, and many faithfuls attended the Liturgy. After the Liturgy, the new under-construction church has been visited, and the Archbishop of Shirak Province expressed his admiration for the shrine and prayed, May God complete it well, wishing all the success and prosperity for the sect’s sons.
