On September 17, 2022, Mr. Younis Mohammed Ahmed, the mayor of Zakho, and a number of engineers visited the Armenian Church construction project in Zakho. They were received by Mr. Daoud Mardirosian, the chairman of the Armenian diocesan sub council, and the general supervisor of the project. They praised this great edifice of the Church wishing all the luck and success.
