Archimandrite Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, visited the sick and elderly in Dohuk Governorate and prayed for God’s blessings and their good health. His last visit of the day was to the village of Siji, where he visited two of the surviving three children of a large Armenian family, the rest of whom died in a terrible traffic accident in October, 2022.

It is worth noting that one of the three surviving children currently remains in the Republic of Armenia where the child was sent, in coordination with the Armenian Consulate in Erbil, to receive medical treatment.

The Archimandrite then visited the village cemetery, where eight of the aforementioned family members lie, and prayed for their souls.
