Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Church of Holy Cross in Erbil on the occasion of St. Vartan’s Day by Father Artun Khalatian, Pastor of the church, and presided over by Archimandrite Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq. The Archimandrite gave his sermon and distributed his paternal blessing to those who were present. After the liturgy, the Archimandrite met with Mr. Arshag Manugian, the Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Erbil, and members of the Armenian Diocesan Sub-council, in the presence of Mr. Vartan Vartanian, the Deputy of the Armenian Diocesan Council in Iraq.
