On October 13, 2024, under the auspices of His Eminence Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, a Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of St. Nerses Shnorhali in Dohuk to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the church’s establishment and consecration, as well as the Feast of the Holy Translators. At the end of the Liturgy, a cultural evening was presented by members of the church choir and students from the Sunday school, and the history and activities of the church were presented from its founding until today. The ceremonies were attended by the pastors of the Armenian Church in Dohuk, Erbil, and Zakho, the head of the denomination of the Chaldean Church, the Assyrian Church of the East, and the ancient Eastern Church in Dohuk, as well as the priest from the Kapni Organization, the Consul of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Erbil, the Chairman and members of the sub-administrative committees in Erbil, Havresk, Avzrouk, and Zakho, as well as guests and a group of the faithful.
