On August 29, 2025, under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Iraq, a Divine Liturgy was held at the Church of St. Sarkis in the village of Havresk. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Reverend Father Hagopos Isahagian, pastor of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Zakho. At the end of the Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Gulgulian blessed the Khachkar bearing the image of St. Sarkis.
